Hello guys,
I would like your help and feedback on what should I change or remove from my cover letter draft.
It's fair to say they dont request for one for my country but this will be the only way to communicate with the embassy officer.
I will appreciate your help.

Re: Cover letter for Tourist Visa Application Form
Dear Sir/Madam:
I am applying for a Tourist Visa to Canada and would like to thank you for considering my application.
I am a Honduran Citizen (see orange tab page on passport) and accordingly will be visiting Canada over Christmas starting the 18th of December 2019 and returning the 31st of December 2019 (see flight quotation schedules attached with tentative dates). I intend to travel to Montreal during this time per invitation of a friend to spend the holidays and get to sightsee all tourist spots (please refer to attached invitation letter for more details).
I’ve always been interested in French history and Montreal is a fantastic place to visit to get more information about it. Montreal is best known as the cultural capital of Canada and parts of the city have been preserved and ideal for visitors. By getting to visit all the locations I’ve plan to in the area, I get to submerge myself in the culture and practice my French.
During my time over, I have a full itinerary of places to go to in Montreal so I can make the most of my visit (see itinerary attached). Some activities include exploring the Notre-Dame Basilica, getting coffee with a cat at Café Chat L’Heureux, meander the city’s markets, visit the German Christmas Market, Le Grand Marche de Noel de Montreal, Noel dans le Parc; see the Nutcracker amongst other activities. All of these various options of entertainment will be financed by my own personal savings.
At the moment I am currently working as a Team Leader for [company], I have a steady source of income and enough money available to pay for all my personal expenses and any additional that could come up. [See attached job letter and bank statement]
As previously stated, I plan to return back to my home country the 31st of December 2019. I have a three-year career built within my current job and I am looking forward to applying for a position as an operation manager. This period of travel is my time off provided by my current job. I assure you I will not remain in Canada beyond the period of my authorized stay.
Thank you for your time and I hope you find everything in order and look forward to visiting Montreal, Canada!
Kind regards,
