Fee structure and GIC, need help!

Hello Im from India planning to study in Canada in the near future and I've got some doubt with the GIC and all.It is clear that an international student need CAD 10500 in their bank account and it will only be given to them in 11 instalments,as said by the Canadian Immigration rules this 10500 CAD is said to be the amount of money needed for the student to live there for a year and my doubt is what if I choose a 2 year course,Do I need

Proof of funds are always for 1 year irrespective of the program length

So you are saying that one doesnt need to show 10500 CAD at the beginning of every year but only for the first year.
Yes. I came on a 2yr program with my child. So, i showed 10.5k plus 3k for him.

It's always better to show more. I had an in principle approval for an education loan, so i showed that. Plus, attached my spouse's and mom's bank statements. You can attach your parents' and include their tax returns also. Don't just go with the minimum requirements. Make your case stronger with supporting documents.
