Fee Return for uncompleted CEC application

I submitted my CEC application with a application fee first time this year , but I got refused because the application is uncompleted, They said the application fee is being return back to me. However, I have checked that it hasn't been refunded to my bank account. I guess I have to send them a request, sadly, I don't really know which form or website that help me to send the request to CIC. I really appreciate if anyone helps me with this issue. Did you prepay the fee using your credit card? If so, use the same receipt and send it to them with your new application.

They may have not return your fees but your fee receipt. What did they say on letter?
Because if they refuse the application, they will return your fee receipt (only if you have paid online with CC) but not the fees. So if you are planning to reapply you can use the same receipt. But if you are not then call them up they will let you know what to do.

Thank you for your replies, I did re-submit an new application with a new fee. Now I'd like to claim back the fee that I paid for the first one. Also they returned my fee receipt, I had paid them online with my credit card. In the letter that they sent back to me said "Your application fee wasn't processed and is also being return to you. Your application has not been received and no record has been retained."

For some reason, they stated to refund the fee for my application 2 years ago, but I just received the refund one months ago (after 21 months), during this time, I moved from my home country to USA and then to Canada, I emailed them millions times but never got reponse from CIC. But 2 months ago, I was suprised to find a refund check from CIC in my mailbox when I already forgot that thing. So my suggsetion is waiting and informming them if your address change. Don't bother them too much, they will not reponse you but will update your contact information, such as mailling address, even you moved several countrise.

Intersting... My first application filled in May was refused in September. I paid online for that application both fees at same time (appllication and RPRF). I haven't received yet my money back. I re-applied in September.This time,I used credit card to pay only application fees.
So, can I ask to use the RPRF fees towards my second application? If possible, how can I do this?

Simply send the same receipt again. This only works if your package was sent back last time before you got the AOR.
Fees are non-refundable after receiving AOR.

Application fees are only non-refundable once the application goes into processing (when you receive AOR). Therefore, you will not get your application fee back. You can, however, use the same RPRF for this application. If you have a receipt, just send it to them quoting this application number.

For the OP, you should have used the same payment receipt that was returned. You'll probably have to contact the cost recovery center to get your original payment back since you've paid twice.

You are liable to get your RPRF fees back as that was not ordered abut you will not get our application fees back. If you have applied again then you can use the RPRF receipt at the time of RPRF request. Just call them, when you get rprf request, that you have paid both fees but now you wanna use your rprf fees on this application. I am sure they must have some ways to use that amount.
