hello.. I'm a Syrian citizen and I live in Syria..
I want to immigrate to Canada under the category "skilled workers and professionals".. and I want to know how to pay the fees..
Since the visa office in Syria is closed, there is no specific information on which visa office is responsible for Syrians
Should I pay the fees at Audi bank in Lebanon? or should I pay in a bank in Jordan???
or can my uncle who lives in Canada pay the fees for me?
please provide me with information concerning that point..

and please check this link:
www .cic.gc.ca/english/information/fees/index.asp
and tell me if I'm considered as applying at an office outside Canada or an office in Canada since skilled workers and professionals applications should be send to Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada.

help please :)

1. The Skilled worker applications are closed and will reopen in January/2013. Only FSW with approved job offers can apply.
2. You don't send your application to the overseas office. (If FSW was open) you send it to Sydney Nova Scotia with the payment.
3. If qualified your application would be processed in Amann Jordan.
4. You have to include the fee with the application. You would need a bank draft payable to the Receiver General for Canada in Canadian $.

Vera, you can get the draft from any nationalized bank from within Syria. Make sure the draft is printed and not hand-written as I am recently seeing a lot of hand-written drafts are returned back to the application asking for a printed draft. Yes, your uncle can go to any bank in Canada and get a draft for you and mail you. But, its much quicker and easier if you do it yourself in a bank that's accessible to you.
