Hello all,

We are trying to figure out how to pay our fees online....we are out of Canada (Rome visa office). We saw this on our visa office's website:

"Applicants for permanent residence can pay the Right of Permanent Residence Fee ($490) at the time they submit their application or at a later date when requested. The processing fee is still required when submitting an application."

Does this mean we can just pay the $550 NOW and then later pay the rest? Will this slow down our application? It would be really helpful if we could split it up because it's quite a lot of money all in one go....of course we would do it if it's faster.

Anyone have any experience paying the two fees at different time????

Hi!

I've heard it's better to pay all the fees at once, but yes it is possible to pay the RPRF later. I found this thread http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t133255.0.html, maybe it helps :)

You can pay it separately, but when the time comes they will send you a request to pay for it, and that can cause delays ... best to send it right away.

Yes, as others have said, if you can pay it all together, as it will result in fewer delays.

together together together oh and did I say together?
