Hello Experts,

On August 3rd I have to submit my fulldocuments. But i m confused about " payments form".
CIO says all application must include fee payment form IMM 5620". This form shows 550 C$ payemnet which is meant for initial processing fee and "NOT" for final/full document fee (490 C $).
Checklist; Application PR skilled worker /London, - point 13, also says to include fee " form".

where is this form for 490C $ ?

PLEASE HELP ME !!!!!!! before gravity losses the force of attraction.

Hi Gravity,

I believe it is better you raise a certified cheque/bank draft/money order ifo "Receiver General of Canada" at this stage in Canadian dollars since the fee is already known.

Fees are payable by either credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) or to the "Receiver General for Canada" by certified cheque, bank draft or money order.Do not enclose cash.

Write your name and address on the back. Make sure that you have sent the correct type of bank draft; otherwise, your application will be returned to you.

Best wishes

Hi,

What if someone hasn't written his name & address behind the draft?
Apart from sending the DD & filling up the Payment Form, a separate letter is enclosed mentioning the DD no, and the date on it

Hi,

The essence of writing names and address at the back of the bank draft is for ease of trace in case of mix up or misplacement or any challenge arising from so many DDs of applicants. However, you have actually addressed all these unexpected scenarios with your covering letter indicating the DD Nos and the date. I believe the letter contains your full names and immigration file nos.

Kind regards.

I heard you can pay online by credit card, then add the details in onto the payment form and then they match it up when you send your documents. This seems better since you already know the payment has/will clear?

Wayne.

Try paying by DD.

Better option, more safe. (I heard they will only try once with Credit Card, If due to some reason your bank doesn't accept it in one go, they will not try again. Will just send your file back)

Just my opinion.

Hi Gravity, don't you think $550 is paid at initial stage only? My understanding was that you pay $490 only after you are issued visa (stamped to your passport). Before that you receive AOR (acknowl. of receipt), then go through checks and medicals, and then only you are requested to pay permanent resident right. Please note that I am not aware of specific instructions that may be applicable to your case (visa office, country, or other), but from reading the official site I made this conclusion.

RPRF fees is usually asked with medical requests . Not mandatory to send it with Full docs stage.

Do I have to fill up two fee payment forms as me and my spouse are applying? I am the principal applicant.

it is purely my understanding:

enclose one form, it includes fee for you AND your spouse (550 two times).

Dear Coffee,

With my initial application-papers, I also submitted 550 C $ Bank draft from ABN AMRO Bank , Islamabad : Application was accepted.
Now I have again, with final /full documents, submitted 550 C $ Bank draft just like before.
I strongly belive to save CIC from hassel, as to wait for fee, it is better to submitt fee ALONG with your full documents. It also make your case stronger and initiates your process readily , rather that CIC waits for your fee arriving at later stage.
