Oh, dear! Did you order GMCS notes to find out what the hell is going on there? 16 months since the AOR...so I guess that'd be about 18 months since you filed your application? You should have gotten your PR like half a year ago...

Yes, I did. There are four main parts in GMCS. eligibility not started, security not started, criminality in process, Medical passed. It seems they haven't even finished criminality check. There's a RCMP screening sub activity in Criminality section, which was updated last month and the status says "No Reportable Trace". Last note wrote by officer was: All documents rcvd given to officer for review.

For me, it's been exactly 10 months today. They received my application on July 07, 2014. I ordered my GCMS notes earlier this week. Let's see...

I hope things get sorted out for your quickly xris.

Hi, what do you mean by "the confirmation that rprf fee has been received". Will immigration Canada send you some information?

Yes I mean they confirm by email that they have received fee. I had sent them pdf but I did not get any response that it has been received.
I am not sure whether we are supposed to get it or not.

I am asking who recently paid rprf fee whether they got confirmation from cic after sending the pdf?

Hi, I paid the fee on 2015-4-24. After I send the scanned pdf to CIC, they only automatically reply me with a e-mail by CIO-Cost-Recovery. no confirmation email yet

I did not get any confirmation email from CIC when I paid my fee.

Yes, the automatic email from them saying thank you for sending the email .. that I got ... but other than that, the confirmation that it had been added to my file and so on ... no .... also .. I renewed my passport and I sent them an email .. and I got no email saying they received it .. or thank you ... nothing ... so I emailed them about a month later asking if they got my update and they replied back in another month saying it had been added to my file. So ... i think its quite arbitrary.

All those who have received or waiting for CSQ please note that you will get two copies of CSQ. Both copies are same except that one is marked as

1- TITULAIRE

and second one is marked as

2- IMMIGRATION - CANADA

When you send your application for PR make sure you send the one which is marked as IMMIGRATION - CANADA and keep the other one for your own record.

"Vous devez deposer votre demande de visa au Bureau de reception centralise de Citoyennete et
Immigration Canada et y joindre l'exemplaire de votre certificat de selection qui porte la mention
Immigration Canada."

I have seen some cases where people mistakenly sent wrong copy for federal part. I am posting this so you guys avoid such mistake.

It seems that the date of which the CSQ or "nomination" is received plays a role on how long it takes to process the application. Why don't we add a column to the tracker to be used as a reference for us?

Mine didn't have that. They were exactly identical and it didn't say immigration or titulaire anywhere on the document. As they notified me that my file is complete, I assume this is not a problem.

This is the letter I received from my MP. Do you guys know what does "positive selection" mean?

"I spoke to CIC regarding your permanent residence application which was received on January XX, 2014. A positive selection has been made on March XX, 2015 and your medical exams are valid till February 2016. The background checks have been initiated , but CIC is waiting for the results of the investigations. Please note that, the average processing time for these types of applications is 20 months."

Did you copy or scan the one you sent for your own record?

To me both also seemed identical but at the bottom of the page in right corner it was mentioned like this.

However while you are inland applicant so it might be different for you.
