Guys ,
here is the news. I got my PPR today at 3:00 PM. I just sent the passports out now and am now sitting down and writing this to you guys.

This is about 20 days from my RPRF request.

So they seem to be working on the QSW applications after all.

Best of luck guys

Surya

Congratulations man! Finally!

Unfortunately, there's nothing anyone can do to predict or affect those processing times. So much randomness. Some people get it in 8 months, others in more than a year and half! :/

Hi, Jad. Our timelines are quite similar. I got my RPRF this Wednesday. It seems that they're speeding up now in Ottawa. Good luck, bro.

Guys,
I already created a topic on this but I wanted to ask you guys, I will be doing my landing in a few weeks. BUT, I dont have an address yet in Quebec and I will be returning to the US in about 5 days after landing.

My question is, Can I supply an Ottawa address for my landing in Montreal ? Will it be accepted ?

Might be problematic. I heard it's a burden on the resident's shoulders to prove that he will be residing in his province of choice. So if you land in another province or land in the same province but give them an address in another province, you will have to convince them that you will be eventually heading back to your province of choice for permanent residence.

Hi FatDragon, thanks a lot for sharing. Yes indeed, we have a very similar timeline. I hope we hear back in less than 12 months since our application, i.e., before July 2015! All the best!! :) :)

I'm giving my address after my landing. That way, I'm already a Landed Immigrant.

Hello everyone, does anyone know the way to contact the CAIPS departement? besids the emial address, because I found they never replay my email. It will be greatfully helpful if there is a direct number that I can reach and talk to them. Thank you very much.
