Thanks osidabdelkader, last couple of questions, when you received passports and visa back, was it delivered in your mailbox or does Canada post deliver to your door and request signature as per the prepaid shipping return label? Did you get an email from Canada post when your package was activated?

Yes it was a delivery that required signature.
To track it I used the tracking number in both Canada post and USPS, and if you set up a notification request. USPS should notify at every step of the process. They kept sending emails, including the time it was in the track out for delivery

Hi guys, I received the same email from cic today saying my file has been transferred to the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa for further review and asked me to update my personal history.

great news can plz share your timeline

here's my timeline.....

CSQ received: Jan 7, 2015
PR application filed received: Jan 15, 2014
AOR: Feb 24th, 2014
Medical requested: Feb 24th, 2014
Medical received: Mar 4,2014
RPRF paid: May 17th, 2014

this is all I have in Ecas till now

dounia, you have a similar timeline as xris right? you should hopefully be receiving a mail from CIC soon.

And Xris, did they request the RPRF from you or did you pay it yourself?

My other question is, I chose NDVO as my visa office, but it looks like no matter what office you choose, they are processing all QSW cases filed from Canada and US at Ottawa. Could anyone correct me here?

Xris;
you're like 2 month a head of me, my application was received on march 31th,2014 and i received medical and AOR on May 5th. did you payed permanent resident fee upfront or they asked for it? bc i still didn't get the request yet. thanks

suryak86; i hope im next ;D but i still didn't get the permanent resident fee request yet, i sent them an email like 2months now they didn't sent me any response i dont know why. and yeah i applied from us, last time i ordered GCMS not it says my file is at Sydney and 2nd office is Ottawa

Suryak86, I've had the same suspicion: I applied from the US and chose my home country's VO since it's faster than Ottawa's. However when I got my GCMS notes they said Primary office: CIO and Secondary Office: CPC-O.

They requested the RPRF from me. I didn't pay it at the beginning.

They asked me to pay for it. I chose this way so that I could know if they're working on my application. ;D

Tks! I'm applying from Canada.

Xris, do you work in Quebec now? Because it can also be that they are working more on In canada applications because they are already working in Quebec.

Also, can everybody take a moment and fill in / update your information to this spread sheet. It will help everybody get an idea of processing timelines.
