Mine was received on 12 Dec 2013 and turned to IP on 23rd July 2014. Hopefully I will get the passport request next month:)

Merry Xmax guys!

Finished my landing at very early in the morning........ :P at ST-BERNARD-DE-LACOLLE.
No challenge. Much easier than expected.....:D

Great...

It would be helpful for all the members of this thread and forum if you could let us know your landing experience.

a. What are the documents that you carried for the flag poling.
b. Did you mention you were doing a landing for PR and can you do flag poling without US visa?
c. Approx. how much time it the whole exercise take...did the Canada border officers ask any specific PR related questions...

Overall if you could give a low down on the whole experience, it would be helpful...Thanks.

Sure

a. 1- Permit (like study or work permit), 2- PP 3- CoPR, and 4- CSQ

I had some extra documents like proof of address and bank statement but they never asked for them.

b. I told the US officer that I want to return to Canada to land. He issued me a US entry withdrawal letter at US port of entry. very simple.

c. At US border it took a lot (30 to 45 minutes), because there was a long queue of people willing to go to US. At Canada it was like 15 minutes.
Officer asked me about my address and the above documents.
Other questions were all friendly conversations, not part of official interview (like what is ur favorite job or what did u study in school or how long have u been living in Canada etc)

The whole experience was nice without worries

Thank you very much for your reply! :)

Hi MAX-87,

I am in the same boat right now, having submitting my QSW/PR application to Sydney, NS, on October 2nd 2014 and still having not received any reply. I already sent two emails to inquire but again, no response but the automated email reply.

Do you have any news? Have you received your AOR?

hi folks
After 21 months, I finally received my "Ready for Visa" email, or commonly named PassPort Request.
I ordered my GCMS 2 weeks ago.
I wish you all the luck
