Well yeah for sure. I doubt it is lost though but if it doesn't turn up and it's really lost, I would just contact CPP-ottawa by email explaining the situation. I'm sure it's not the first time that happened.

Well i received my passport today. Canada post customer service is a piece of trash, one week they couldn't locate my package.

Advice for everybody: Write your address clearly especially the POSTAL CODE because it is a machine that reads it. It took a week instead of a day for my passport to get here because a letter was not clearly written so the machine could not read it !!!

I have no idea why do we have a tracking number if they can't locate the package with

Medical results have been received.

11 mars 2013 they asked me to update my history document .

in mid april i did my medical . received at the end of May

i paied the fdrp 23 08 2013 .

since then no news . i applied to gcms two weeks ago.

It's been very long since you were in process , i am curious to know what you get in your gcms, but the good news is that your AOR date is in march i guess so that will be the due date where an officer would have to look into your application

if i want to bring my Canadian friend with me to do the landing does he have to bring his passport with him ? because he doesn't have a valid one right now

And is there an address for lacolle border that i can put on my gps to reach there ?

My passport reached ottawa march 3rd , tracking information got activated march 5th

I'm from a visa exempt country so my passport request was for a scanned copy of the photo page, not the original passport.

YOU NEED ONLY YOUR VALID PASSPORT,COPR AND YOUR CURRENT WORK PERMIT AND SOMETIMES CSQ. BUT IT IS ALWAYS BETTER YOU TAKE EVERY SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS LIKE BANK STATEMENTS,UTILITY BILLS,EMPLOYER LETTER ETC.

Friends,

I sent my passport last week and just got my passport today with the visa. The original email from CIC said that my docs must be received in their office within 60 days from the date of their email (email was dated 10/02/204).

On the visa today, I noticed the following:

Date of issue: 10/02/2014
Date of expiry: 20/03/2014

Does this mean I have 6 days left to land in Canada??
CIC also sent a letter saying that "Your immigrant visa and CPR have been given the maximum validity. It cannot be extended under any reason."

Is this common? Does everyone get only 40 days from date of issue to land in Canada? ???

Please help.
