Nope my e-case is still showing application received & Medical received .
I have other friends (same case QSW, applied to federal last year on June July) still waiting for Decision. I heard not sure though that CIC do DM or PPR in batches. June-July 2012 batch will go to final steps soon I guess.

Based on some timelines, i think inland and outland applicants are in different piles

Sorry if you thought my comment was aimed at you (judging by you quoting me) - it really wasn't. One of my colleagues is also an immigrant. She applied as soon as she arrived in Quebec and she has her COPR already, even though she applied in May. Our situation is the same: same job, same NOC code, both single with no dependents, both from the UK, both currently residing in Sept-Iles and naming it as our intended location after PR, etc. Hers isn't the first example I've heard of (I'm also on British Expats and Trackitt) and I just find that very frustrating but it must be even worse for applicants from 2012 and even 2011. I kind of wonder if Canadian Immigration just process stuff at random... Seems that way.

It can not be any more unfair.

I applied as a QSW and fif not use the cleavage that I had as I am married to a Canadian.

I applied in July 2011 and still they haven't finalized my file so please be thankful that you haven't reached me stage yet.

Wish you all better luck than me

Have you chased up the application at all with a case-specific enquiry to Ottawa? There's a guy on British Expats whose wife applied for QSW and she was approved in about 4 months as a result of being married to a Canadian. I'd be so frustrated and pretty angry if I was in your position having applied in 2011 and still without PR!

I can tell you that being married to Canadian does not help. My wife and daughter are Canadians, I am still waiting in line.

Indeed many October -November and December 2012 applicants are seeing DM or getting PPR. However, from the CIC website it shows that 80% of the PR applications were treated within 20 months (average). In this forum there are quite a few people from june, july septmber who have already received there PR.

That is true. When i wanted to apply for PR, I asked about that (they have ppl from cic go to university for consultation). They said there is no different. The only thing different is the you can apply under a different program if you want (spousal sponsorship).
Ppl here can varify it since their friends who dont have canadian spouse still get PR quick

Hi engr455, If you understand French, you can check the link below. You would see some July 2012 that has already received their PR card. Moreover, in this forum many September October applicants have gotten ppr or have seen DM.

Is anyone keeping track of outland applicants? Looks like CIC is marking time on 'outlanders'. Kindy share where you are at, if you are applying outland. My application was received at CIC on August 2012 and I am "In process" for a while now. Last time, they told me they've requested for the extension of my medical since old one got expired. It's been close to a month now.
I understand there are several factors (includes travel history, medicals etc) that affects the duration of treating the various files. Lets only hope that sooner than later, everyone gets ppr and begin living their dreams.
Best!
