Hi Folks, first post here but I've been reading your threads for sometime. I think you guys have built a wonderful support system here, so I would like to make my contribution by sharing my experience. I think I share similar timeline with HLR and Eurmione (maybe).

I would also like to congratulate Harvie... he/she is the MVP in this forum.

Welcome Joshua1. We have very similar timeline. I was also told by email that my application was currently being processed. However my online status still shows application received.

From what I have read on other forums there are a few factors that would determine the pace of one's application e.g. how many countries you have lived in for the security aspects etc. However, your online status may not even change after you get your PR. Based on correspondence I had with a Case Processing Agent regarding some docs, my application was being processed before my status got updated to "In-Process". So, be encouraged!

I sent a scanned copy of my spouse's renewed passport three weeks ago to Ottawa.

Yesterday i got reply mentioning that there was no attachment with email. I resent the email with attachment both in jpg and pdf format (I made an attachment in the previous email too).

In my notes (printed on Oct 24) the location mentioned was A87-QSW and this reply I got was from CPP-O (indicated in the signature).

Should I consider it as my file has been transferred to Ottawa?

Has it been assigned to an officer who checked my file and asked me to resend the copy of passport?

My file is in Process on Sept 3, it is transferred to Registry of Ottawa in Sept 17. No assigned officer or due date yet. Just an update on my finger print file on Nov 7
. So I guess, we will wait for awhile. (just got GCMS notes today)

Office: CPP Ottawa (transferred 6 May)
Security due date: 19 April 2014

Not entirely sure what some of that means. Presumably my security needs starting at some point or is that not necessary for QSW CSQ holders? Interestingly, security due date is same as my passport expiry date so perhaps that's related.

Anything else in the notes I should look out for?

My notes are similar, the due date is related to the date you received AOR not to your passport.

For in-land applicants with cpp ottawa as primary office, they are reviewing october applicants right now, so we (february applicants) have to wait at least 4 months before hoping for something

Hi All,

Request you to please share your experience of your application, so that I can guess/know my timeline by comparing with your application.
Presently, I am on Employers Work Permit.
Submitted the application within Canada.
I got the CSQ and then applied for Federal.

Kindly find my processing details below (ECAS) -
1.We received your application for permanent residence on November 22, 2012.

2.We started processing your application on April 24, 2013.

3.Medical results have been received.

4. RPRF fees requested on May 30th 2013, Paid on June 1st 2013.

From then no updates till now..... Its almost 5 months over no further updates.
please share your experience of your application....

i must thank everyone here for keeping up my patience, handy suggestions, and familiarizing me with the usual timeline. i wish everyone here a very very fast processing, specially for jun-july 2012 inland outland applicants.
