I sent a scanned copy of my spouse's renewed passport three weeks ago to Ottawa.

Yesterday i got reply mentioning that there was no attachment with email. I resent the email with attachment both in jpg and pdf format (I made an attachment in the previous email too).

In my notes (printed on Oct 24) the location mentioned was A87-QSW and this reply I got was from CPP-O (indicated in the signature).

Should I consider it as my file has been transferred to Ottawa?

and

Has it been assigned to an officer who checked my file and asked me to resend the copy of passport?

That's awesome, last month they were on september now they started october, you should expect decision made in 4 weeks

any idea what is laying between "in process" and "decision made"? is it security or criminality? if thats the case then the in-between period could depend on travel history,...?
imm, harvie, any thoughts?

not sure thats why I applied for gcms after I got mine copr, just to see what have they done in one month. I think for us (primary office cpp-o) after complete everything like Eligibility, criminality etc ,e-cas changed to in process and then they send our file in queue for final review i.e. ppr . alles gute ;)

your primary office is cio and secondary office is cpp-o so I am not sure whether imm officer is assigned to your file but it is good indication that somebody from cpp-o contacted you. but I am sure your file is at ottawa. normally for qsw file location is A87-Qsw and for pnp is PV2 (at cpp-o) good luck

i have a question concerning file location, in my notes when my file was at sydney the file location was a87-qsw when it got to ottawa the file location became "registry" , is that normal , did you have similar location in your notes
