They have given priority to the applications submitted before June 2012. Please keep posted all of you who are getting their PPR.

Thanks HLR! :)

no buddy nothing :(.... what about your medical matter ?

I did my medicals on May 2, 2013. I asked CIC and they said that they received it on July 23, 2013 but it will be updated by VO within three months after receiving (starting from July 23rd). This is why in the email they mentioned that they have not received it as yet.

It was strange that they received it after >2.5 months whereas the medical clinic representative mentioned that they sent my e-medicals on May 29, 2013 (almost 4 weeks after my medical exam). It is really ???

I have a strange question that if one gets US visa during the PR application, will this expedite/delay the processing? Any impact on background check? Does one needs to inform CIC for his short visit to US?

Don't be discouraged, at least you know they have itt.

For US i don't think you need to tell cic anything, anyway send them an email and ask this way you are going to be sure

As a QSW Nominee, can I land anywhere during my landing?
I thinking of driving to Toronto instead of flying to Montreal

Will this be any problem?

Advice needed please!!!

any updates ?

no news here!! It sounds like some QSW applicant from May/June 2012 have got PPR. You and I have close timelines. hopefully we will hear something within next 3 months!!

How long it takes for background check?

Any idea why it takes longer to evaluate QSW applicants?

CSQ=10 months
Federal=20 months.

other PNP nominations federal part is 12 months in addition to nomination period which also looks shorter.

Is it just my impression or it really is the case?

Background Checks varies from applicant to applicants.
My case for example, I have lived in so many countries / continents, but I applied
for My CSQ from U.S, and it took them 5 months to schedule my interview and obtained my CSQ
Then I applied the Federal part 2 weeks after getting my CSQ, and it took them 15months to
give me the "Maple Visa"....
In some cases it is faster and in some slower. But just cheer up and keep your faith alive.

No this is totally fine, though the dude at the border will likely try and make sure that you intend to go to Québec.
