" This is to advise you that skilled worker applications which had been received in Ottawa were recently transferred to the visa office in Cairo.

Kindly note that we have begun processing these applications in order, based on the date each application was received. As soon as your case comes in turn, we will advise you of any further documents required.

Thank you for your interest,

hoipefully we will hear some good news by the next few months, and this is a good sign that things are moving.

i wish you all the best

Hey Disaac,

This is good news! Can you please share the timeline of this applicant?

@ Kookie & Sukmar
no colleagues, we did not applied inland, we applied from Egypt and we request that our files to be processed in Cairo office, however and according the new system most all the received application were sent to Ottawa, i was wondering then how we can get the visa ? since i saw in many cases passports were send to Ottawa and this was strange for PPl applying from out-land. now it makes sense as the final processing and passport request will come from the local visa office. i think this is a good news for all of us because this will reduce the load on Ottawa office to finalize the application from inland and in the same time finalize the process for people applied from out-land.
regarding your question Sukmar all the applicants under QSW program from Egypt starting of June 2012 did not received the RPRF. hopefully by the next 2 months we hear some good changes.

How can I know which visa office is processing my application?
I have applied in Land, and they didn't mention the VO in my medical request.

Hmm usually the VO will be mentioned in the top of the medical request letter/email. Where did you send the
Medicals to?

the MR email was sent by Centralized Intake Office Sydney, NS
I remember that the doctor mention that he will send the medical report to Ottawa but I don't have any letter or email that can confirm that.

I am pretty sure the medical request should have the information on where you should be sending the medical results and that should be your visa office, at least that is how I knew mine was being processed in Ottawa.

I recieved today an email from ottawa and asked to pay RPRF for me and my spouse. They also asked for my updated CV, List of Publication and supervisor contact information as well as Police certificate for my wife (I provided this before but they said that the certified translation is not acceptable and the original document is needed).
Hope After I send this information I get my PPR soon

woooooooow. congrats a9magic. this is a very pleasant news. Godwilling you will receive your COPR soon.
