Hello all,

I am new to this forum and wants to share my timeline with everyone. Below is my timeline.

QSW (PEQ) received- November 10, 2012
Application filed- November 31, 2012
Application received- December 12, 2012
AOR- January 28, 2013
Medical request- February 6, 2013
Medical done- February 8, 2013
Medical Received- March 22, 2013
In Process- June 11, 2013

I ordered for my first GCMS note which was printed June 4, 2013. In that GCMS note
Eligibility- Not started
Security- Not started
Criminality- In Progress
RCMP- No reportable trace
Medicals- Passed

I ordered for another one that was printed July 29, 2013. In that GCMS note

Eligibility-Passed
Security- Blank
Criminality- Passed
Medicals- Passed

I ordered for the third one that was printed August 29, 2013. In that GCMS note, I found out that nothing has been done on my file. The second and the third GCMS note was exactly the same. No additional update. My last update was July 2, 2013. My file location is still in REGISTRY. My application has been in Process for almost 4months now.

Another thing is that on any page that has security info on my GCMS note, there is always (s.21) on the top write corner of the note. My security was updated, but the date, status and validity was not shown. But the date and status for Criminality, Medicals and Eligibility were shown.

Anyone on the same boat should comment.

Security was left blank since Sept 3 (when they do all the update = passed everything).
Status : blank
updated date: blank
Updated by: VU01984 (same guy who update everything else on Sept 3, so I figure he does the same update for security but I dont know why he left it blank)

My file is also in registry location of cpp-ottawa since sept 17. It has been in process for 7 weeks now....

hey you are almost there . you, me and jasmin13 went in process almost same time. we all get our ppr very soooon

I see jasmin13 just got hers. Mine might take a little longer since I recently sent an updated police clearance. You might get some good news very soon.

My file in ecas still app rec, and they received my app July 23, 2012. My GM report showed that criminality sit ill in process since Nov 16. Hopefully, they can finish it and give me a in process. Such a long way for me, good luck for everybody here still waiting.

They need to check ur egligibility too... it is weird that it took them that long for ur criminal process. Mine started right after i got AOR.

On my first GCMS report print at 7oct, when they start to work on my file, they start several apps at that time( August 23) and start at that time my criminality in process, but, the report said nov 16, 2012, they open my file, reason is in process. But no more update until this August 13,2013. In Ecas, nothing changed too, since they received my med result Oct2012.

Good luck. Im not familiar with your case as mine was closed to pnp guys eventhough i am csq. If you have been in many countries, it can delate this process. My file only have to check canada since i have been here for 10years since i was 16. My next gcms notes will be nov 18.... not sure if i will get ppr by then.

what is your ecas status now ? I am from visa exempt country( Germany) so am waiting for my ecas to show decision made.

Hi,

we applied for QSW catagory. Federal received our application in July 2012, after around 2 months medical request received. We submitted medical after a month. Federal received the medical and on August 2013, our application status changed to In process. Same time we have a birth of child in Canada. We emailed the birth certificate in last week of August 2013. Still waiting for next step from CIC. Will it cause any delay in our application process ?

no it doesn't affect your application process since your child is born in Canada so he/she is a Canadian citizen.

if you dont mind why you ask everybody where did you apply . everybody have to apply cio-ns and after that the application is transferred to cpp-o or outside canada visa office

Oh really, i didn't know, i thought there is some that apply directly to ottawa, thanks for the information, but how can we know if sydney or ottawa is our primary office

I got my PPR 3 weeks ago and i m planning to send my passports to CIC this week knowing that I live in USA right now.

Did anyone sent his passport from US to CPP-Ottawa recently? How did you get it back? should I pay for a prepaid envelope from FedEx or not ?!! please let me know your thoughts. it urgent!!! Thx

In their email they stated the following statement:
" If you have a mailing address in Canada: To allow you to track your passports through the mail, we strongly recommend that you purchase two (2) PREPAID Canada Post Xpresspost envelopes (National), letter-sized (318 x 241 mm), at any Canada Post retail outlet.
- Complete the mailing label on one envelope showing your mailing address in the “Deliver To” field.
- Keep a tracking number sticker from each envelope.
- Fold and enclose the self-addressed envelope in the other envelope along with your passport(s) and a copy of this request letter.
We will not use registered mail or postage coupons. If you do not submit a return prepaid Xpresspost envelope or if you provide an envelope from any other courier, we will return your passport by regular mail
