Exactly same time line including the dates. Except for additional documents as I have sent everything fore front.
I guess our files are treated in same batch by same officer. I sent the passports yesterday

Anand and saintezym, thanks a lot!

They got my application on February 20th, so I guess I'm close :D
Congratulations you two! \o/

I sent out my passport on the same day i received the ppr.
It seems it generally take 2 weeks to get the passport back.

Cool!

And after that, how do we request the PR Card? Or is it done at the point of entry?
And how long does it take to get the card in our hands?
Thanks!

From what I have read on this forum, the request for PR card will be done when landing. They will ask for your address and the card will
be delivered to you later.
The waiting time is 100 days on cic website...

Hi friends,

As we are in Montreal, once we get PPR for our QSW application, our plan is to do flag polling
(drive to the nearest border-post, cross the border, get 'denied' a US visit, turn-around and enter Canada to perform our landing).

Will you please tell us where is the nearest and more convenient border crossing from Montreal for that purpose?

Cheers

What you are talking about is the visa office in Montréal. You have to make an appointment but it takes a minimum of 6 weeks to get one, so you might as well just drive to Lacolle.

File received by sydney : 2015 december, 22
AOR received : 2016 March 14 :D

Anyone who is 2016 december applicant ? ;)

Hi any February 2015 applicant for Ottawa VO and still waiting ?

Also does anyone know what does RFO means? I just noticed the following line in my most recent GCMS notes:

Text: Meds initiated for PA and spouse. Screening done, when medicals passed, RFO.

Anyone in a similar situation?
