Hello everyone. This is my timeline:

CSQ received: October 18th, 2013
PR application filed received: December 11, 2013
AOR: January 29th, 2014
Medical requested: January 29th, 2014
Medical done: February 12th, 2014
Medical received: End of February (Did not check e-cas for a while)
RPRF paid: May 17th, 2014
UPdate requested:July 24th, 2014
Update faxed: July 26th, 2014
In Process: July 29th, 2014

Any ideas how long one application stays in process? Also, I have been wondering what to do about my address change. I have emailed them my new address but they still have the old one on e-cas. If they stick to email correspondence then I am not worried but I worry that they may mail something to the old address instead.

It is normally takes around 3-4 months after it's in process.

They normally send PPR through email. If you are worry and you are from visa exempt country, you should go to the post office, pay around 150$ and have ALL your mail forward to new address for 1 year. It's a small price to pay and it's more secure that way.

You are almost there.

Good luck.

Thank you very much. I will wait for that email.....Even though I was hoping for less than 3-4 months to be done with this in process status

Hello bubblyhead

We should be in the same boat. I have a timeline very similar to yours. My eCAS has chenged to "in process" at July 2nd. My medical was requested at Jan 8th. Even I was asked for RPRF just as the date you were asked (Mid May). I hope we can get PR no later that Oct-Nov.

Good luck

I hope so too! Courage to you. I just wonder what determines the duration for in process status.

Thanks

Well, nobody a has clear answer for duration of "in process" status. Very varying case by case. but I think the whole process shouldn't exceed a year for PEQ holders.

Hi,
My timeline is almost the same as yours. I applied for PR under PNP Ontario. My medical was received February 21. I paied my RPRF May 21, 2014. However, my online application status did not change to in process yet. It only shows that my application and my medical have been received. I am still waiting for an update from CIC.

I hope so too. Are you still in process? A spreadsheet I checked once showed people stayed in "in process" status for about a month or 2 max.

HI everybody
Did anybody receive this kind of an email from CIC.
It is very confusing: it is not a PPR for visa, but they are asking for my passport.
Please advice

I did send my passport
and I sent a scanned version 3 months ago, but no copy.

I am still waiting and checking the Xpresspost label to be activated, but no update since more than a week now.
Thanks
