I just wanna know , what's the federal stage period ? It's going to be an year since I applied for CIC but no updates yet.

As from my information it's the second stage after finished the first one and have received your CSQ
In this stage you must send a file to CIC . I think it takes 15 to 17 months from sending your file to have your PR

It has no time-frame. It is processed case by case. Some can get their PR in a year or less, and some unlucky ones like myself can be stuck in the process for ages. My application has been in process for more than three years.

Do you know exactly what is the reason behind such a delay in your case? 3 years is a lot. Did you order GCMS notes?

I contacted a member in the Canadian Parliament ,and apparently I am under background checks. He mentioned that no one can predict when this will end.
