it's been 5 weeks i've applied under university professors and lecturers catagory. i have not recieved any news from cic. can anyone tell me when will they reply back.

Be patient and wait. Your application will remain untouched on a dusty shelf for another couple of months, alas. Try searching for a global spreadsheet where people gather statistics and estimates.

I have been teaching Bachelor's level students for 5 years. My college is an affiliation from a recognized university. Do I qualify under University professor and lecturer category.

Actually I do not know, sorry. Being employed by some University might be a must for this NOC code. It also has to be distinguished from NOC 4021:
