Hi,

Does anyone have any idea till what date applications have been processed so far for Federal Skilled Worker?
Looking for the month of July.

They are working on applications received on May 20th, 21st, and 22nd right now.

How can they be so slow? Are there a limited number of officers maybe to do the job??

If its taking them 4 months from application received date to charge CC, does it mean people who send in September have no hope of meeting the end of year deadline and the cap?

Probably not. CIC received more applications in the first two weeks in May than in June, July, and August combined.

It depends on your NOC. It's unlikely the overall 25000 cap will be reached. But specific NOC caps will certainly be reached and some (e.g. 2174) have certainly been filled by now.

If you are asking if there is a last day that CIC will accept applications under the current rule, then that would be either on April 2015 or at the end of 2014 before express entry begins.

It is not an official site. CIC's official statement says it ends in April, however they could announce at any point that they are ending this program in December.
