Here is the text of Tim Leahy's 29 September 2016 email to me.

Subject line of the email: Game over: The Supreme Court gave us the boot

The Supreme Court of Canada announced today that it has refused to hear our case. The announcement reads:

Code:
[color=green]Haiyan Gong v. Minister of Citizenship and Immigration (F.C.) (Civil) (By Leave) (37040)
(The application for leave to appeal is dismissed for want of jurisdiction, with costs. /
La demande d’autorisation d’appel est rejetée pour défaut de compétence, avec dépens.)
Coram: McLachlin / Moldaver / Gascon

https://scc-csc.lexum.com/scc-csc/news/en/item/5319/index.do[/color]

I really have nothing to say, but the decision reveals the Supreme Court of Canada's view toward its obligation to ensre the rule of law.

My thanks to those of you who invested in this appeal. I am truly sorry that it has all been for nothing.

I am sorry that I was unable to achieve your goal and thank you all for the faith that you had placed in me. I wish you the best.

Kind regards,

Tim

Subject line of the email: obtaining a refund of the FSW fees

Good day,

A few of you have asked me how to apply for a refund of your visa processing fees. I'm sorry. I should have anticipated such queries and have given you the answer in my last email.

The following link will give you the form and, after completing it online, you may click the link on the top of the form to sendi it in.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/p df/kits/forms/IMM5741E.pdf

When I try to open this document on google chrome, it will not open, but it does open on Internet Explorer.

If you cannot save the document, you will have to print and scan it, then attach it to an email sent to the email address shown on the form: FSWFeeReturn@cic.gc.ca

Best wishes,

Tim

Dear clients of W.W.I.C.S. who took part in Tim Leahy's lawsuit,

Please team up here in this thread so that we can jointly take up with The Worldwide Immigration Consultancy Services (W.W.I.C.S.) to refund our fees (gold or silver or bronze package) as our files have not been processed by Canada.

WWICS is asking to clients to fill up two declaration cum refund form one for GPS fees and one for WWICS fees and informing that they won't assist in future as mentioned in declaration.

But no refund yet.

Anybody received refunds ???

Dear all,

Hi, I am from Bangladesh. I applied to the FSWP in 2014 and did my medical in November 2015. Yesterday I got email from Visa office at Manila to send my passport and photos within 5 days and also mentioned to enter Canada before 21st November 2016. Now I am in South Korea to attend an official training till 8th November. After going back to my country I have only 10 days to get visa, getting leave from office and so on which are quite impossible to me. In this situation what can I do?

Please give me your suggestion.

thanks

Hi experts.. Could you pl review my post.
Post 19th Nov, I had created a new Express profile, which put me in doubt regarding points assigned against my foreign work experience.
Details of work experience, which are entered in system:-
1st Experience -- May 13 to Aug 15 (2.2 years)
2nd Experience -- Nov15 to May 16 (6 months)
3rd Experience -- Sept 16 (current job, 2 months now)
ILETS – CLB 9
CRS score - 469
Doubt: - If we count it day-wise, my current experience is 2 years and 10 months, but the system (EE profile) has considered it as 3 years and assigned me with 50 points. Now I am in dilemma that if I receive an ITA in the next draw, should I accept it and proceed with my application as it’s not a fault from my side - as I entered all the correct information. Will this be an issue at later stage (rejection or mis-presentation)?

dont think giving your address out on a public forum is the best idea ... especially since you are saying you are away for 2 months : :o
