Job code for Insurance adjuster is 1312, and some of the duties for this category is as below:
Insurance adjusters perform some or all of the following duties:
Investigate circumstances surrounding insurance claims to determine validity of claim
Inspect automobile, home or other property damage
Take statements and consult with claimants, accident witnesses, doctors and other relevant individuals and examine records or reports
Determine amount of loss or damages covered by insurance policies
Negotiate settlement of claims
Prepare adjustment reports.

Insurance claims examiners perform some or all of the following duties:
Review, examine, calculate and authorize insurance claims investigated by insurance adjusters
Examine adjusters' reports and similar insurance claims or precedents to determine extent of insurance coverage
Ensure claims are valid and settlements are made according to company practices and procedures
Consult lawyers, doctors or other relevant individuals to discuss insurance claims
Approve automobile, fire, life, disability, dental or other insurance claims.

Thank u for your reply ,yes I have submitted those duties for this category. I have also submitted my letter of appointment , salary certificate and Employment reference letter which has issued from my Zonal Manager of my office ,but why it had said by CIC that I may misrepresent (From review of documents on your application you may have misrepresented your
profession as an Insurance Adjuster on your application form in order to improperly access the Federal Skilled Worker
Program,that this constitute a deliberate concealment of material facts, central and important to the adequate
processing of your application under Canada’s Immigration and Refugee Protection Act.) ? may it need more papers or specific documents ? Pls let me know by your experience and knowledge .

Hi Jevan, I am also pre 2008 applicant and my ecas also appeared as yours after 5 months. I applied for refund and not litigant. I am also Pakistani. So is this any progress for Pakistani's applicant or others nations also experiencing the same as us. Kindly response.

Old applicants 2005 and later and non litigant files are now getting refunds. It will be again a long queue for refunds and could take unspecified time to mail refunds to all.

My query was are they sending the cheque or refund letter?. heard in one group that the person received refund without sending the refund request!!!

You have to contact them in order to verify your postal details etc.
Form is available on CIC web page.
Every one who applies for refund , gets the one with in 3 months.

. I am among those litigants who are the part of Emam contingent. I have not received any letter from CHC regarding updation of address or for any refund. so do I need to go online myself and fill the form or wait till I receive anything from CHC. Please advise

Have you updated documents back 2008, if no then it is very much possible that your cheque is on way. either of seldec/psdec must be +1 to go ahead.
