Good luck to those individuals pursuing this although one wonders what the result might be seeing that the Canadian Govt was intending on returning monies paid. As for those wanting to pay money for the class action suit, paying by Western Union is never a good idea as anyone can claim the funds. It is usually better to pay using your bank and collecting the said lawyers bank details that makes it easier to trace etc as opposed to Western Union.

joining a lawsuit will only make more money for the lawyers, not a success for the claimants. people just need to accept that the pre 2007 cases are terminated and either reapply or seek new avenues where migration is concerned.

i have paid CAD150 through Western Union from Rawalpindi to David Cohen.
My lawyer is also Mario but co council is David to whom i signed retainer agreement first.Actually Mario officials sent me payment modes but it was quite difficult procedure so i preferred to pay David and informed him too.His team has acknowledged me about my payment.

Very true. At this point even the litigants are aware of this . Their intention is only to fight and not let go easy and make a statement.
They are aware that they may not have their applications processed

On of the 'famous' lawyer here had advised long ago to seek the help of Canadian MP's, associations of various migrant communities to garner support for the cause etc. The lawyers knew then, the litigation or the appeal wouldnt stand a chance but still went ahead charging people for the same. Its all business for them.

If the litigants really want to teach kenny a lesson,then whats in bold is the only option.
