So I am not the only and lonely person who could not login. But my status never went to blank and now it's non accessible.

lot of people couldn't login. Many got a blank status after the error. Till afternoon mine was showing blank and now it shows error.

I am a new comer in the forum. Will any one answer to these questions?
1. Who stopped the CIC to process the applications within the promised time frame?
2. Was it a fault of the pre-February, 2008 applicants?
3. If it was not the fault of the applicants, should the applicants suffer for the fault of CIC?

Thank you for your message. Please note that almost all pre-2008 files have had their online status removed. We do not believe it signifies that your file has been closed – as you may know we had an agreement with the government whereby they agreed not to close any files until the case was resolved.

With regard to the case, we have finished pleading our case and we are currently awaiting the judge’s decision. His decision should be released shortly.

As soon as it is released we will be emailing all clients who are involved with an update,

For about a week, I was unable to access the e-cas site because of webpage Certification issues.
Over the weekend though it is up and running again and nothing has changed and still 'In Process'.
btw, am with Manila VO- March 2005 and joined the litigation...

Those are some very big "ifs", and a lot of misplaced optimism, given that there won't be any elections in 2014.

If you win you will get the litagation costs included in damages. Let CIC appeal after losing, The next litigation costs will also get reimbursed if CIC lose.

Federal courts very very seldom ever award costs.

Yeah but that was a given. Regardless of which side would win, the other was going to appeal no matter what.

That's why I've been telling people to forget about this lawsuit, because it's going to be YEARS before it's finally settled.

That might be difficult, as the next Federal Election won't be until at least October 2015, as the Conservatives won a majority in 2011.
