federal skilled worker - applied based on temp work permit and permanent job

hi i am starting this thread to know the status of people who applied PR and have permanent job offer and are working in work permit.
i applied in Mar 2013 and there is no update so far. i checked with ottowa office and they replied saying that i have to wait till timelime ends. usually its 15 months time.

the only problem is that my work permit is expiring in Dec 2014 and i am worried if i would be able to get my PR before that.
i applied under category who have permanent job offer. i did not applied as exp class as i dont want to wait for 1 year.

what other options do i have? any advice suggestions ?

Just wondering, why is IELTS not required for you?
I believe all applicants regardless of the category now require IELTS scores or TEF scores.

can you give me more details on how to get OWP. i hope you are talking about open work permit.

as per my knowledge. to get OWP, i must have applied permanent residence and my application should have be reviewed as i am eligible.

can i get open work permit without this condition. my LMO was only for three years and might not get new LMO but my HR can give me letter that i am permanent employee and they can prolong it based on my visa

No - you can't. You need to meet this condition if you want to apply for an open work permit.

thanks, by the way what is positive eligibility review. as my current PR application is "in process" . i applied in Mar 2013 and since then there is no response. i applied within canada as i had permanent job. i did not recieve any AOR but i can check my online status as i had UCI#.
since i am not getting any response so thinking to apply PR under experencd class as i would have 12 months exp by Dec 2013. any thoughts

You should have 12+ months experience before applying CEC . We are eligible to apply concurrent applications ,which mean you can have FSW application in process and can apply for CEC . Based on the decision you can reject either one of them.

You should have recieved an e-mail stating prelimenary application checking is done basically achieved desired points 67+ and correctness of the application will be first step to get PER e-mail from CIC

positive final determination of eligibility for processing on the basis of Arranged Employment in Canada: Oct, 12, 2013

Then no news..just shows "In Process". Just saw that the processing time jumped from 15 to 25 months

by the way i sent my application to ottwa visa office. was i suppose to send it to cent intake office.
