Federal skilled worker and Express entry

I want to apply for canada PR without any agent. Please help me to clear the doubt that what is difference between 'Federal skilled worker and express entry'?

i am MBA from SMU and having 8+ experience.

Federal Skilled Worker Program is an immigration program. It has certain minimum requirements you need to meet to get into the Express Entry Pool.

Express Entry is a selection mechanism for those who are in the pool and qualify for one of the immigration programs. The higher your score, the better your chances of being selected.
