Federal Skilled Worker 2014 program-Send app in Nov/14 but No response till now

Hi everyone,

I would like some sincere advise on my current status.

I applied for Software Engineer and Designer (2173) category under Federal Skilled Worker 2014 program.
I sent my application in the 2nd week of November, 2014 and it was received on 14-NOV-2014 as per the notification I received from the courier company
However, I have not received any communication from your side till date.

Does it look strange or it is part of their process?
Where and How can i ask them for status about my application?

I even don't whether my application accepted or rejected or even received. I sent bank draft and does not know the status whether its been cashed or not.


Is there any person facing the same situation?
Please suggest.

Your bank would be able to let you know whether the draft has been cashed out or not. If it's not, the chance to have the application processed further is slim due to filled cap or negative eligibility reasons. In this case, the rejected application pack would have been sent back to applicant by snail mail. Some folks on this forum have reported the receipt of their rejected applications. Anyway, you should call up CIC to check the status. No news is not necessarily bad news. Better check.
