I read FSW threads too and many applicants mentioned that they have never received any AOR from VO. Instead of AOR, the second line on the ECAS was updated and saying "we have started processing your application"
I do not wanna give u bad news but without getting PER you will not get medical request.

In general I do not trust any immigration lawyers (they just wanna make easy money) and therefore if I was you I would check all communication and documents between your lawyer and CIO. (When app was delivered, asking for a new DD...)

Minimee

sorry for bothering you- Has your husband received some response to his e-mail? our CC were charged a long time ago

Hi NP26,

I have an question for you, can you check your status online at the CIC site?
If you can what does it say??
Ours says INPROCESS at the first page when we login, but then click the "IN PROCESS" it only says "We received your null on July 04. 2014"...
I wonder what this NULL meaning...

Hi Minimee,

I have the same message with my delivery day from the beginning. (3 days after charging)
however, there were many cases in the past with the same message, so nothing to worry about...

I just really wanna know what is happening- it is taking a long time after being charged. Not sure if I have to get ready for a new application. In that case I have to take IELTS again and I hate spending money on this test:))

Thanks for your reply NP26 and thank you for your advice!
Yeah, I really want to know it too! I hope we don't need to re-start again as I need to get the Police Certification again from my home country...
And I know about the English test is just too expensive, and you know what? My husband did 4 times!(Because we planned to apply for FSW before and must get higher score). We spent over $1000 for that including a course for prepare ILETS! LOL

@ Minimee & NP,

Hi Guys... I want to know how can I check my status online ? I don't have any receipt no. or file no. for reference OR will I get any receipt no. only after they will have my new DD for visa fees ?? I apology if I am bothering you but the fact is I trust you guys more than my immigration consultant. I tried to see her but she is not in the town right now & there is no one else there who can guide me in this matter.

Similarly if I have to restart this process then it'd be very irritating for me as well. They are just making money through IELTS test. I hope to hear from CIO quite soon as my new DD is expected to be sent in this week.

Keep in Touch

Montu,

Why do not you use CC? Much easier and faster process, plus you can see straight away when you get charged.
Unfortunately, you will not be able to see your profile till you pay the fees and receive PER with file number or UCI (if you have ever been to Canada before, then you should have you UCI)

Minimee
IELTS can be tricky and costly. Luckily for the FSTP, the required score is lower and we do not need to score 67 points.
I had to apply for 4 PCC and it cost me approx. $400

@ montu

We can check the online status from the Client ID from the former WP. I think there is no chance to check your status if you never been in Canada. I hope you hear your consultant or CIC soon...

@ NP26

I wish we could find the FST category much earlier... We were misunderstand about this category and didn't think it's the best option for us... Stupid us!
I know your feeling about PCC, My husband need get from 2 country and I need to get from 3!
Cost us same like yours too(Including transrate and to certify them!!)

Have a good day for both of you! :)

"Even I m also feeling like stupid after applying in this category"
Mate, you need to do some research. Everything what you need is on the CIC website and on this forum. CIC has 6-8 weeks to respond to any email. The category is not stupid, it is only your approach to it. Applying through immigration lawyer indicates that you have not done much research and you rather pay money to someone else and expecting miracles. You cannot see your Ecas because you have never been to Canada before and have not received your PER yet.
I suggest you to do an extensive research, obtain Certificate of Qualification and then apply without a lawyer. This way you will have your own control over the whole immigration process.
I wish you good luck and all the best

Guys,

One question, one of my friends wants to apply in FST, one thing which is confusing, how anyone living out of Canada, can get the certificate of qualification, he has got his positive assessment from Ontario college of trades, but CIC document check list, clearly mentions that Certificate of qualification is required, can anyone help out on how to proceed with the certificate of qualification

Regards

Montu, please don't lose your hope. it will move forward someday, but you should talk to your consultant and make sure what is going on. I think that's the first step for you. If somthing is wrong, but you still have chance to re apply! I wish you the best!!

fniazi4u,
To get the certificate of trade in Ontario, S/he need to pass the test after the assessment. S/he need to book to do the test. But I'm not sure if somebody can attend the test in Canada if they live abroad... The best ways is call the Ontario college of trade and ask them. I know they have high volume of call and you need to wait long time... Good luck!

Thanks minimee,

so the bottom line is, without the certificate of qualification there he can not proceed with FST ? or is there any alternate for the COQ at the time of sending applicaiton to CIC?
