Federal Self-employed farmer category

Hi every one i just join this forum.
I had applied Canadian immigration as self-employed farmer category in 2009 and my application accepted in 10 August 2009.
Now my status not shown on CIC site but my last status was we transferred your application to our London office in January 2011. They may contact.
My lawer says that your application is still in process.
Plz advise me what should i do!

You can only wait. One of the slowest classes, anywhere from 4-8 years for processing.

I wonder if CIC will make some changes to reduce the 4-8 years waiting time? It seems that they are taking actions to reduce backlogs of other immigration categories.

Can anyone share some news regarding self-employed application?
