hi everybody

I received my CSQ few days back and I plan to apply to CIC for PR. I have few questions

To apply CIC, application is paper based or through an online system.
What all forms I need to send them.
What is the postal address where I need to send my application from Pakistan, in case of paper based.
Upfront medical is preferred or not.

Thanks everyone

Mail your application and your fee payment form or receipt from paying online to the Centralized Intake Office in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Canada:

how long did it take you to receive your csq after it was posted... and was it through canadian post service?

You will find most of the information here:

Hi there, I have a similar question. I am sponsoring my wife. She lives in pakistan. Do I have to apply for CSQ for her before applying for the sponsorship? Please reply asap.

@favbless

it took me almost three years to get my CSQ and yes it was received through Canadian mail. Normal post service not some kind of courier or express delivery service.

@umeusm

it depends upon your visa category. if you are a citizen then you should follow the family immigration route I believe.

and the question still remain there about the upfront medical.

Upfront medical is not advisable as Medical results are valid only for 12 months and once has to land before expiry of medical results. Current processing time for QSW Federal is 12 months and upfront medical will most likely expire before landing so CIC will ask you to take test again. If somehow your application is processed before expiry of medical results ( 11.5 months) then you would be left with only 15 days to land in Quebec.
