Hello! Thank you for posting your comments. You know that I am on the same situation, it was received on may 22, then they called me for medical exams on july 6th, I made medical exams on july 16th and they received them on july 20th (according to fedex tracking number that the doctor provided to me) about 2 weeks later, when I checked ecas, it says "medical exams have been received". I am still waiting for them to request my passport. By any chance,have you got that email????

Thank you!

Daniel

Hi..Are you talking about 2011 or 2012?

I think he's talking about 2012. And I think he sounds a little anxious, given his medicals were received 6 weeks ago...

what r we supposed to do after the 15 months processing time? are we supposed to contact cpp-ottawa and ask them to hurry up???? am tired of waiting.

That could be one of the options but trust me you will get the same old bs. Its been 17 months now for me ( april 2011) but nothing as of yet. My last GCMS notes was not of any help apart from telling me that the "due date" for some of the things is Sept 21st 2012. Lets see if this date is of any significance or not.

Hi HMIDATOU

Good luck to you too! It seems they play roulette with the applications. They choose a number and the file kept at that number in the pile gets to be reviewed first. I really pray somebody from immigration canada to come on to this forum and refute my claim!!

no one can come from cic to read our blog, they are busy processing our application, am sure they arguing which one they should start with, that's how they spend the whole day, at the end of the day they get tired and go home and no work is done.

I usually don't think about the waiting, which is very depressing, but I will have to pay 7000$ as winter semester international fees if I don't get my PR by december :( Its almost 14 months now. And I am seeing that people are waiting for over 17 months now :(

And its a little discouraging to see 2012 applicants receiving PPR from ottawa. (I am happy for them, but not happy with ottawa)

I hope this feeling will go away...

Same here, I plan to go back to school but I'm holding off until I get PR so I could study with low QC tuition and be eligible for bursaries and student loans. I hope to get it before winter or else I will have to delay education until Fall 2013 !

do you know that you can get a refund of all of your tuition fees when you get your PR before the end of the semester ??

@XSE,

I applied from US, and then came to Canada to study.

@masteros,

Thats good news!

I don't have $7000 in cash right now, I'm planning to rely on bursaries and student loans to finance my education
