not sure about the criminal record, check the links above, the ones i gave to cvd222. If I remember right, they also do Criminal Record Checks.

The Fingerprints will only be send to Ottawa, if Ottawa has asked you for it. If you do it on your own, it'll be send to your home address and then you have to send it yourself.

Hello lamine38
when they say 10 months, are they talking about time required to get CSQ or just the time required for the Federal (QSW/FSW)
part?...Just dont understand the 10 months thing?????
Thanks

I was talking about federal. the time of treatment in ottawa pilot is 10 month average according to the email i received 2 month and a half ago. but otherwise it took 8 month to get my CSQ. I applied on a regular CSQ.

:D HI all,

To update you all, i just received my passport back with the IMM visa and the CPR (confirmation of permanent residence), the last step is to go to the borders and land.

I was in Montreal (as a student and then a worker) for the last 2-3 years, does anyone know how will the landing procedure be ? What about declaring the goods that i have/goods to follow?? any help would be appreciated..

I am sharing my timeline for references:

PR (federal) application received on February 22 2011.
Medical request + AOR: 27/10/2011 (got MR and AOR from Buffalo)
ECAS: Started processing your application on May 17 2012.
Passport request: June 4th (got email from Detroit)
ECAS: A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.
Visa stamped: June 15th

So in total the PR application took about 16 months.

But does the 10 months include your CSQ period?...because most Ottawa Pilot email will say 10 months for standard processing
and after that the email will furthur say 120 days if you dont hear from them...
...SO WHICH ONE IS APPLICABLE?

Hi all,

Its officially 11 months for me, after applying for the federal. Looks like its taking about an average of 14-16 months from application to passport stamping. Any updates for you guys?

10 months is for federal part only. federal bureau only talks about federal part.
