All the best my friend.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/francais/ressources/guides/op/index.asp

Quick question to you all. I don't know if this has already been discussed.
When you check your eCas on the CIC web site, below your "detailed" information there are some explanation tables to help you understand where your file is.
For people like us with application sent to Buffalo, Seattle, LA, Detroit... i guess we have to go to "•Demande de résidence permanente à l'étranger ". Then we are supposed to get the explanation of what our ecas status says.

For instance, when the ecas says "medical results received", it is supposed to mean that "a decision has been made"... what do you think about that ?
Does that mean, our application has been processed and a decision has been really made ? that the PPR is coming soon...
Today It's been a whole year since i sent my application to buffalo... i'm kinda getting impatient ;)

Hello McFly,

I think this could be an error because if you check the "PR in Canada process " section it says Medical received means IN PROCESS. Also can someone tell me what ePPR email address is ?

I want to make sure it will not end up in my spam.

Thanks

Eng_Mtl, here is what i see when i go on ecas... it clearly says that "medical results received" means that a "decision has been made"

Hopefully it is true and the end is soon...

Sure McFly but read also section "Application for Permanent Residence in Canada" there it says IN PROCESS for the same status. So I am not sure which one is correct.

Anyway eCas is not a reliable source, as my friend who got his ePPR has still says IN PROCESS on his eCas even after 1 month of passport request.

Okay...
It looks like there is no logic at all in this big waiting game. Patience is our biggest asset.

yep unfortunately.

eCAS is not reliable and the links about what med recd and all that are for Federal applicants (FSW). It might or might not fit with everyone case. Like in my case i still see "in process" and upon clicking "we started processing your file on so and so date" followed by "we transferred your file to Seattle on xyz". That is it!
Though eCAS was a great tool at first, it is of no use now for applicants..

congrats ae0yy and all friends who finally heard good news from their associated visa offices ;D ...

guys I need your help, as I received my medical request from OttPilot Otawa on 16th September, I completed my medicals on 20th September. The doctor's office sent my Medicals mail package to Ottawa on 11th October by using Canada Post's Xpresspost service ( as they told me to call after 3 weeks after medicals done to get the Tracking# which I got it from them on 13th October) .. But When I tracked my package its showing me as follow:

Tracking Number
012345678912345

Please note that this is the most up-to-date information available in our system. Our telephone agents have access to the same information presented here.
Track Status
Product Type: Xpresspost
Expected Delivery : 2011/10/12
Date Time Location Description Retail Location Signatory Name
2011/10/13 10:10 OTTAWA Item processed at local delivery facility

which means Canada Post haven't delivered my Package to the Canada Immigration, Ottawa office till date  as i cant see any signatures there and I don't know what's going on, why they have kept my package and haven't delivered it yet :-\ .... Today I called Canada Post and talked with their representative who further gave me a Reference# about my query, apologised and told me they will investigate about it and tell me something on November 10th  ... I told the representative that that's my most Important documents for the Immigration, Ottawa  .... What should I do now guys? Do I call my DMP office? or Canada Post? or Tell regarding this to Ottawa office??

Thanks,
Sher Singh

Hello!

This is a very handy and reassuring forum :) I am getting anxious about my applications and requesting help from you guys.
I received the ceritficat de selection quebec in december 2010, applied for the Permanent residence (in buffalo) in February 2011. Recently, in the eCas it shows that my application was received on february 22 2011. My friend that applied about the same time, received an email (AOR) including the procedure to do the medical last month. I emailed the visa office and they said that an email was sent to me with the AOR (i never received anything) and they sent me another copy. It includes the file numbers but not the Medical procedure !! I asked them again and they said that medical documents will be sent by regular mail once my application is in that stage of processing .. I can see from this thread that everyone received the medical docs together with the AOR ! Am I missing something here ? What do you guys think/recommend?

Thanks!

Sher,

First, do not panic. The Canada Post agent just followed the procedure which is to submitn a request of investigation. What I recommend you do is contact Ottawa Medical Centre, i mean he number I posted months and monhs ago and that Nkusi subsequently posted. Use the number and phone Ottawa to inquire if they have ur results.
I bet they have it... and CP just never updated your tracking. Happens all the time!

:)
