Hi all!
I hope you can help me with a couple of questions. While my passport is valid for several years to come, my national ID card from my home country expired a long time ago. I do not live in my home country and it might take me several months to get a national ID card. Can I respond NO when asked if I have a national ID card in one of the documents for my PR application? Or should I get the card first and complete my application once I get it? Or should I apply now for PR and add a letter stating that I applied for my national ID card and it is on the way.
On a different note, my criminal record from my home country is valid for only three months. Will PR people consider it valid for a year or will I need to make a new one at some point?
Thanks in advance!
