I only used PR time, no temporary residence. I noticed they ask for foreign police clearance but only if we have lived outside of Canada for the past 4 years so that didn't apply to me. Not sure if that caused AOR delay. I sent a webform.

Or... could it be the case where the file was created but the agent missed sending out the AOR?

can you explain the gap between sent and delivered when it was an online application? Curious because I submitted my app online Feb 16 and no AOR yet. thanks

@vnexpress @tanjid12 Quick update - My application from Feb 20th was returned today because they're saying they can't verify my physical presence before I became a PR. I will attach all relevant documents and resubmit it. If you're also using temporary resident days and were on maintained status they might send you a similar email, so better prepare your LOE and relevant docs in advance.

Glad somebody at least looked at it. Hope you get your AORs soon. I also sent a webform to nudge them. Maybe that worked.

I guess it's time for me to track the March, 2025 thread now. Good luck to everyone here.
Hi I'm in the same boat, they informed me that they are unable to verify my physical presence before PR. What should be the all relevant documents to resubmit in your case? Should I request CBSA travel report, I'm just trying to figure out the best way moving forward. Given that I'm 100% meet the physical presence requirement, just not sure how to show them in the application.

Did you get AOR and then application returned or not even AOR? Did you ever extend your status (visitor record, work permit)?

no AOR just returned, I never extended my status. I don't even know what they want, just a yellow mark saying something is missing, then I clicked into it, it says unable to verify my physical presence before PR, when I "refreshed" my physical calculation page, everything is back to green again and ready to submit, but obviously this is not how I should help them verify my physical presence I assume.

Ok, were you in a visitor visa? If so did you overstay more than 6 months without leaving Canada? Did you apply for open work permit

Double-check all your documents, did you accidentally upload someone else's doc? Maybe a driver's license, health card or anything like that? My sympathies are with you. IRCC is a highly incompetent department, they told me they 'lost' my online application in the system, lol.
Thanks for your response. I have attached 3 additional documents:

1. Additional details regarding my physical presence in Canada- I was on an implied / maintained status for a while (waiting for my work permit extension). I could not put that info in the application form, so provided my work permit details and implied status timeline before I became a PR. This was in the 5 year eligibility window.

2. Letter of explanation for not filing last years Tax return in Canada (2024). I have attachments for NOA for previous 4 tax years (2020 - 2023)

3. Since I was self-employed for a while during the eligibility period , provided proof of self-employment (Staffing firm contract and engagement letter with my incorporation) and my employment record for full time employment as well.

Do you think anything was unnecessary here and could have caused any issue? I doubled checked all these additional documents and don't see anyone else's private information.

Prepare a Letter; with a table to show each exit and entry stamp on your passport order by Date (indicate Departure, Arrival, Country Exit, Country entered, Date of entry, date of exit and Page # of passport where stamp can be verified). This should help.

Haven't your AOR include information about next step - IRCC will review your application and contact you, you may take tests, ect ?

You may create your citizenship application tracker account.
In most of cases, it becomes available 2 days after AOR. If you try to create too earlier you may see an error message "Incorrect or invalid information."
So wait till Mar 12.

In my case, I received an email from IRCC 5 days after AOR. That email contains some information about IRCC tracker. I've already used the tracker though.
Thanks, i tried today Mar 13 as well. still same error. May be i need to wait for first update after AOR to be able to create a tracker.

I was in Canada since Feb 2020 and never left, yes I did submit the entry stamp on that date in the "Additional documents" section, I also plan to request a CBSA report for that period but it's gonna take a month. I really don't know what else I can do about it, just bad luck I guess.

Hello, everybody!

I had a question on the citizenship online test sign-in.

I received the email invitation on March 11 and my test start date was 2025/03/13 12 AM EST, but when I try to sign-in, it says “Based on our records, we haven’t invited you to take this test right now” and “You can’t take this test right now”, even though almost 24 hours have gone by.

I know it’s not too long, but based on historical applications I wanted to know if this meant I need to wait a little longer or if I should send an email right away because no matter how long I wait, this issue wouldn’t resolve.

Please let me know based on your experience.

P.S.: I received two emails on the March 11, both are the exact same. Tracker also shows the same dates. Also, my office is probably Surrey; the email contains SRY.

Your responses are highly appreciated.

Thank you!
