Thanks and Appreciate it.
I have a question from my end now, As per my previous answer's about the TRV I had my spouse flight booked on this coming Sunday on Visitor Visa but as to my surprise I just had received the PRE ARRIVAL letter and final decision on Spouse Sponsorship Application, on the tracker everything is completed and COPR details are uploaded, So I am very confused on this now, What should be the next step, How long it takes to receive the COPR letter because I want this process to be completed in the Applicant country only and I can delay the flight for couple of weeks.
So should I extend the flight dates to couple weeks or should I have her arrive here and we can do the PR formalities in Canada? It's an URGENT request So I would really appreciate if someone can guide on this situation!!!!
Firstly, NO need to delay the flight. Let your spouse travel on the docs already received. Why do you want her process to complete only in Applicant country? There is no such requirement. You guys applied for TRV specifically for this purpose - and you got it.
Once she is here, you can provide the update to CIC, through webform.
I have read on this forum that CIC will then provide you details to complete the virtual landing.
Infact..even if you get the COPR a day before flying, thats good. Let your spouse know to print it and keep it handy. If the officer in Canada asks too many questions about return, simply show them the COPR! that you got it a day or two before departure, so you willl complete the process here in Canada.
