At this time i am totally lost with how they process applications, i had my friend who sent his application 2 months back, and now he is having his test taken. it took 6 months for me to get into that phase (testing step) - and i am stuck at LPP currently since July

Yep, I feel it. I knew someone who completed the whole process within 8 months too. I got my gcms notes and my primary office is Sydney, maybe that's why.

Bad news, apparently due to an "administrative error" my ceremony got cancelled and it'll be postponed to a later unknown date..

Anyone else had this happen to them? Sept 27th Mississasuga Ceremony

I finally got a ceremony date

January 9th.

That was a weird process but I called IRCC and they confirmed it this time as in-person even though I recieved a form for virtual xD

Apparently the first ceremony date was an "error" because my file was not even complete then! yet somehow I recieved an invitation.

I'm still confused about how they messed that up but I can't complain, I still got a ceremony less than a year in. Better than many people I know.

they said they'll email me again a week before the ceremony I guess this one was another "adminstrative error"

I found out a friend, who is not on this forum but is a citizenship applicant since almost a year, has had Language and Physical Presence completed after interview appointment. But Prohibitions is still pending. Is that a concern? Has anyone experienced this?
I hope we all hear some good news soon too!

How do you delete your post I’m new here and confused I’ve tried many times to delete my account yet nothing is being done about that.

Post older than a day cannot be deleted. So it's a futile exercise.

Finally my LPP is completed. Oath ceremony scheduled for Jan 30th.
Below is my timeline:
Application type: Paper (Joint application with wife)
AOR: Feb 27, 2023
Got a finger print request sometime in April
BG: May 30, 2023
Test: July 7, 2023
Test Complete: July 15, 2023
Long silence for 5 months and suddenly an update on Dec 19th. Eyes lit.
LPP: Dec 19, 2023
Oath ceremony: Jan 30, 2024
