Hi all! It’s my first time posting here, thanks for all your help in advance! I’m due to apply for my citizenship in Feb 2023 but I still haven’t decided whether I should apply paper or online. Some of my friends got their passports in 6 months after applying by paper, whereas others still waiting for their tests…I’ve seen a google tracker somewhere on the forum, can I rely on this?
I’ll be applying from Toronto

Apply paper..online applications are extremely slow.

Online gets AOR fast but paper seems to be better overall. This can change so do whatever is easy.

Were your friends single and had straightforward applications? Nothing complex? 6 months is good time even for paper.

Hi, thanks for your answer! Yep, single, nothing complex.

Hello, I have a question. The time I spent in work permit or study permit how should I address it in the online system? Is it gonna Temporary Foreign worker?

** During your 5-year eligibility period, did you have a valid temporary resident status(opens in new tab) before becoming a permanent resident?

In here the only options that come up are Intl Student, Visitor, Temporary Foreign worker & temporary Residence permit holder
