Good day. I have a question. Due to a scam I had been out of status in Canada for nearly 2 years by the time I got married to a Canadian citizen in Jan 2020. I applied for a OWP along with my spousal application submission by post mail. Currently I have a AOR on my hands that I received in Feb. I wonder when to roughly expect my open work permit so I can start working?
Thank you in advance

Since you are out of status, you won't qualify for an OWP until you have AIP. Expect a wait of at least 8 months from the time your application was submitted.

So by now I was also able get a temporary interim bc drive license, I injured my back and wonder is there a way for me to visit a medical clinic as non-private paid? Can my wife write me in in her insurance?
