Congrats! For me it took a day, some people took a week or even longer.

No idea, but I'm assuming it depends on the officer and/or the office. As I understand, they need to review the images that the software takes of you.

Still my background check is processing! I saw our other friends got the test invitation after the back check is completed! Any idea on that! Thanks in advance

Is it possible to not receive the finger print and passport photocopy request at all? Asking because I didn’t have anything about requesting the passport photocopy in the email I received about the test. Thank you in advance.

I know some people have got the request to upload the passport online after the citizenship test. No worries

I did not get a fingerprint request but did get a passport copy request. From my understanding, FP may be optional but have seen pretty much most people get passport request. So probably hang in there. I got the passport request after the test invite. All my statuses are completed except the Oath.

does anyone feel that online applications done in FEB are now not progressing at all? just noticed updates of people who've applied in later months completing their tests, and awaiting oaths - whereas no progress for the most of us. Not sure if there is anything that could be done

Got an update today. Background status changed to completed

App Send 20th February
AOR on 12th August
ECAS on 14th August
FP request:- 14th September
Background completed:- 8th October.

Welcome to the thread! When did you receive AOR? When did your application move to In-Process (Check ecas here https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/security.do)

Your next step could be an interview/passport scan request, then Decision Made (DM), then Oath!

AOR received - March 30.. Moved to In process - May 21

One of my friends is a month ahead than us in terms of the timeline.. he just got a request to send copies of all the pages of his passport.. is this request common for all applications or is it made depending on the case?
