No, you shouldn't and in fact, you can't as you are required to upload BIL while booking the appointment.

I submitted biometrics on 22nd February but its not updated on Application yet. Is it normal to wait for uploading? As my profile still says "We need your fingerprints to process your application. Check your messages below for details."

I have received some emails from VFS and tracking number and the last status showing on VFS is "our application, tracking ID No. XXX has been received at the Canada Visa Application Centre, Islamabad on 2021/02/23 and is in transit to the IRCC Office in Islamabad for processing"
