Hi,

Could anyone please confirm a question regarding PCC. I have been asked to provide PCC as per "Police Certificate: From each country/state where the residence period has been six months or longer since the age of 18,"

In context of CoR - India, does this mean I have to obtain PCC from each state where I stayed for more than 6 months since the age of 18. Or just the one from regional passport office.

@legalfalcon, Sir does the word "country/state" means just the country or each state. I am confused. Please advise/help.

Thanks

Indian PCC is valid for all states. For India, you need only one PCC. For other countries, that you have lived in, you'll have to apply separately.

Hi, while uploading PCC the site asks for document number and expiry date. I have got pcc from india. It has a file number, can I put that as document number?there is no expiry date on the pcc, So what should I be putting in the expiry column? Kindly give your inputs.

Use the document number. Add six months from the date of issue, for expiry date.

For India, you only have to get one PCC from PSK.

Guys is it reasonable to do PCC just in case...I was issued a remedical since feb 26 without any ADR which is unlike every other person...I passed the medicals on March 16th and now I haven't heard anything again...thinking of doing a PCC just in case it my hasten the application
Its reasonable for sure. Just know you might waste the money, but if you're fine with that just go ahead and do it.

Thanks for your reply @legalfalcon
One more thing @legalfalcon what if she’s not added in the application As a dependent (webform already raised 5 months back) so shall I wait for ircc to respond and ask for her medical?
TIA
Hello I added my newborn, raised several webforms as her documents became available and uploaded them all. After 5 months (this march) they were all on file. I also had one reply asking for imm0008_dep, imm5645 for both parents, proof of payment, het birth certificate , passport uploads. Later they sent the medical request with an IMEI number and I got her medicals done with the IME number.

I received a passport request from IRCC, however due to travel plans I can't cancel, I'm unable to submit within the 21 day period stipulated. The link provided on the passport request letter for reporting such circumstances takes me in a loop or a generic Web page at best. Has anyone been here and what did you please?
