That's awesome and you should feel really lucky to see movement. As I can see from your signature that your file was transferred to Ottawa and that's really awesome because Ottawa is the new Mississauga of spousal application.
We have our spouses outside of Canada and from VISA non-exempt countries and for us, the bottleneck is Mississauga VO which somehow manages to bypass mostly the files submitted in late 2019 to March 2020 or maybe earlier, and knowing all this it's really a difficult time for us. We cant even request to transfer our file from Mississauga to Ottawa VO which has been clearly processing files efficiently and quickly.
It feels like our lives have stopped progressing, only our bodies are working in Canada but the mind is actually with our loved one outside of Canada, and it's the same for them as well.
So many important dates missed, so many plans missed, so many promises broken eventually it's just heart-wrenching to go through this pandemic all alone knowing that our loved one is suffering because of IRCC's processing delays and lethargic file prioritization.
This difficult time would have been a little bit easier if we had our spouses to hold their hands and say, "It is going to be alright, WE shall get through this together".
