February 2020 - Citizenship Applicants

Feb 2020 Vancouver applicant. Nothing Since Aug 27 DM date. I have a friend who sent in March 2020 and done with their oath in late October. It's very frustrating to say the least.

I'm starting to think your wait is attached to the Riding you're in. Too non-sensically random.

I had my test on Aug 22nd and am waiting for the oath ceremony. They asked for me to send them by mail (postal) color photocopies of all my passport pages, which I did about 3 weeks ago. Did anyone get asked this? How long after this is the oath scheduled?

They asked for ours to be sent electronically. Still waiting for oath to be scheduled. I saw others that have theirs scheduled way into next year so... don't book a winter vacation or anything

No one know when 4 months waiting from the day a feniched my test and 3 months from DM

It is crazy to see people who applied a year after in Feb 2021 get oath invites for Nov/December of this year. Meanwhile people from early 2020 and 2019 are waiting

Then, unfortunately, it's unlikely you get the oath before the end of this year. It takes around 4 months between DM and the oath on average.

Every thing completed except ceremony NOT started yet can be next year

I recently contacted the MP of Terwillegar (Edmonton) to get the status on my citizenship case. I am a Feb 2020 applicant. Test completed on June 17, no update since then. Got a reply this evening from MP office that Edmonton IRCC office finalizing applicants of Aug 2019. So bottom line is the wait gonna be endless unfortunately

Got a reply this evening from MP office that Edmonton IRCC office finalizing applicants of Aug 2019. So bottom line is the wait gonna be endless unfortunately

If I were you, I would have included in my request that 2021 applicants are getting oath invitations. Saying they are finalizing Aug 2019 applicants is just a lie and a cover for them not to give you an honest answer what they doing internally.

I think maybe in Mars next year we ca have the ceremony by law when u u pass your test u have to wait between 3 to 6 month I have already 4 months waiting after test and all status are Completed and DM was in 14 Aug except the ceremony not started yet
