Huh? I don't think that is what IRCC means when they say "exempt from travel restrictions". Thinking about it, I can't find any logic whatsoever in that train of thought. "People who are exempt from travel restrictions" means front-line workers, truck drivers, members in the healthcare field etc.
I just hope this theory is true. Otherwise I got mad with that message. Which shldnt be criteria for all of us waiting.

Hi All, We got citizenship test request on May 25th., and we completed citizenship test on last Sunday 13th June. Today in citizenship tracker it is showing Test completed.
"Language skills", "Physical presence", and "Prohibitions" showing in progress. "Citizenship ceremony" shows not started.

Omg, this is brutal. How could that be a criteria. They shld do based on applied date.12months processing time finished applicants shld be prioritized. I am so upset this is stupidest criteria I ever saw. Stop taking fucking taxes from people who cant travel. Very idiotic behaviour. Making us fools.

What the OP mentioned is likely incorrect. I have addressed that here

I have to write my test before July 7th, I am studying Discover Canada and other resources. Any tips or advice on the test? I see many names and dates that confusing me.

Applied Canadian citizenship last February, my original country’s passport expires July 2021. I thought I won’t need to renew it since there is no way that they cannot approve my application in 16+ months. But yup I am renewing my motherland’s passport now because I have to… no Canadian passport for me yet… dead silence after the test, sigh……

Same here. Its confusing since we hear names newly and many years of timeline. Few members have told that we should study one chapter and take the chapter tests and move to other chapter and then give full tests too.
So take few more days to study the guide few times and then give chapter tests and later full tests in the next 1-2 weeks and then attend. Dont be in hurry to give test before you score more than 90% in the practice tests which is what i am planning for.

These links were given by those few members for practising:

My portal just updated the Oath Ceremony to In Progress, and it’s scheduled on August 10th! I dunno why it’s so far out, but I’ll take it lol
Congratz!Happy for you!
If you got oath ceremony in August what about us still waiting after test. I am so frustrated with this slowness.Even after everything is online and so much upgraded technology wait continues. I dont know what is taking so much time.
