I have got a transit stamp (Temporary Entry Stamp) in my passport from China while I was traveling to my origin country. The set of stamps (total 3) has some words in English and some in Chinese. The main thing is both entry and exit stamps have the same date and it is not clear which one belongs to entry and vice versa. I entered China and left on the very same day. It was a few hours of stay at the airport before boarding my connecting flight.

My passport page with these stamps look like this-

I don't know if getting these two stamps translated will make any difference. But, for peace of mind, I want to get this done before my test invite.

I would be grateful if someone can share the details of a good and economic translator in and around Surrey, BC

Hi Guys,

Someone maybe able to answer this. So my eligibility period is from Feb 10 2015 to Feb 10-2020. But in the taxes section 12b, I entered the tax years as 2018 to 2014 - all with required to file yes and taxes filed yes.

I missed out even mentioning 2019 as I forgot about it as I had not filed those taxes yet. Do you think my app will be returned? I realize the requirements are to file taxes for 3 out of the 5 years, so with 2015 to 2018 I have 4 years which qualify me.

Simple answer is that your your application is good, no worries

Normally I would agree with you plus the question clearly says "Tell us when you filed your income taxes in last 5 years"

But I see applications here returned for the silliest of reasons to be honest. Anyway we will see I guess

Hey Any Update?
No update man. The tracker hasn't moved as well. I'm hoping its something other than CIC mailing me something else :)

What's why I said simple answer, if you go deep there are so many if and buts in almost every question CIC asking lol

I couldn't see my application on ecas yet. My application was received on Feb 24. When do you think I can see my status on ecas?

Buddy, I can see you on the January sheet already.
Is this a returned application which you're resending?
Or, are you a different velu?

I applied in Feb but my spouse in January. We're using the same forum account

Hi All,

For the personal history, CIC says this

Do not leave any gaps during this period and do not leave this section blank. If you do, your application will be returned to you.

My personal history looks like this

2016-05 - Present
2016-01 - 2016-05
2015-06 - 2015-12
2015-02 - 2015-06

For the 2nd entry, is there an issue with missing dates? Should the starting month of the entry always be the ending month of the previous entry?

Also for one of the entries, I was unemployed, but I forgot to mention the address details of when I was umemployed. I am 80% expecting my application to be returned. Should I get ahead of the issue and re-send the application?
