What was the exact time? If it's being processed in Atlantic Time (Assuming this is happening at CPC Sydney, Nova Scotia), it could be either a manual release by the CPC employees or a batch release by their system for work that was completed yesterday.
I think it’s the later, emails are sent in batches or scheduled times (Stupid cron jobs -IT people will relate ;) -)

I don’t know a lot about how officers check the application, but let me tell you something that may feel better. A friend had his file returned 10 a week ago for a silly mistake, look at his dates :
File received: Mar 9th
File checked: July 30th (stamped on the returned file).
If your application wasn’t returned so far, most probably it’s on the way. ;)
What was the mistake?

I'm tempted to start a thread to gather as much information about the e-mail receipt time for all the folks who got AORs between 2019 and 2020 so I can tabulate the data and actually be able to see, via data, what the possible times of day are to receive an e-mail from the CIC. :D:p

Kind of an amusing little experiment with negligible/no value, but it would provide a little insight into how these are structured at the CPCs and add to what we know of their opaque process. There is enough data within these forums and users continuing to go through this process that using it to reverse engineer the possible process (given everyone's timelines) so we could actually see what the averages are between each stage - receipt to AOR, etc.

for those Feb and January applicants who did not get AOR, wait wait wait and hold your house for two weeks before call them. I see officers are doing a greate job on sending AORs.

Correct.
Just received the AOR email minutes ago (weird time) :D
File received Feb 27th
Some would be automatic too hence it would send out at some specific time. Earlier during pr days, 7:45pm would be the time for some eamils. And people might be also working at this time as they are working from home hence they can send anytime as we have seen some AOR emails after 8 or 9pm too.

congratulation. what is your time line?

Just checking, did anyone else have "SC" as the person who received their application?

try calling them and ask agent to search by your receipt number for temporary file number in system as they have access to this.
