Looks like people who got AOR in Aug are getting In Process now. so 2 month timeline.

I am just mindboggled that someone who submitted his/her application in June 2020 got his AOR on the same day as me. I mean - thankfully there are no issues of expiring visas etc with Citizenship applications

Yes It would say "In Process" instead of "Application Received" after few weeks(or whenever they start processing - probably i assume that they sent the file to local office by this time). It doesnt happen together for all at the same time - as usual. So you will have to wait for yours to get changed.

When does biometrics happens in the process of application?

No one knows. For many applicants, fingerprints never get requested at all. So it all depends on the officer. It can come before the test or after the test too.

Biometric can be asked any time from in-process to application compelete.
Not all application get this and no one can guess. It all based on background checks.

Hi there, i have a question regarding fingerprint request. If someone is outside canada & he or she got biometric request, Is it possible they can give biometric outside canada? Or they have to return back to canada for that!

Yes. You'll get a 3rd line update in eCAS when your application moves to IRCC Processing centre closer to your location.

They started processing my application on October 8, 2020.

I saw some posts saying "eCAS" where can I check that?
